Your front control arm frame mounts look like the shock mounts sold at Speedway & Ron Sutton (maybe others too?). Is that what you are using?

Hi Mike,
Yes, I've obtained them from both Summit and Coleman.

5 months [based on the date of the 1st post of this thread] build time, not bad at all

We have a big gap in our AutoX schedule so, I removed most of the panels and painted them white with some blue stripes down the center.

Hi Ron,
I've entered six events with it this year. In several of them, I've only made one run because sorting chassis issues haven't been fixed with the changes I've made and the fuel metering changes haven't been big enough. After the first few events, I could no longer communicate with the ECU. Thus, I acquired a used Electromotive TEC-S and got the same size injectors that I have a lot of tuning data on (previously they weren't readily available). I recently did full load testing up to 7000 rpm and now think it's running right.

Ron

That's a gorgeous engine bay. Do you have any idea how much power your'e making and what the car weighs?

Thanks Ron. I haven't logged any data with the chassis and engine at their full potential yet. This setup in the Caterham and the RX7 have shown peak power at 385 and 405 at the wheels.
The car weighs 1433 without ballast. With me in it and the 120 pounds of ballast I've added it's just above the 1700 lb minimum.

Ron

We finally got back to some autocrossing. However, it had to be wet yesterday. :BH:

Rain + slicks are never fun, add to the mix 400hp and a light car  Well done for keeping it all nicely composed

Thanks Ron. It was entertaining for the first two runs when I was just taking it slow. The next five runs, I tried to push harder and they were faster, but ugly. I guess I was lucky the camera remote battery ran out. I've repositioned the camera so that I can reach it directly the next time out.

A couple of weeks ago at the last autoX, the engine continued exhibiting extra richness at boost levels above 7 psi. I have leaned it out several times with enough change to have fixed it by now. Thus, I'm thinking the cause may be poor airflow efficiency at the high end due to the upper manifold that I fabricated. So, I've switched the upper to an FD RX7 upper with a throttle body for an LS (much less expensive than an RX7 one). Starts and revs fine, but load testing has yet to be done.
