Do you have the room to fit 205mm wide tires? Especially with the semi enclosed fenders of the 11?

Bruse,Here are some photos. Maybe but????

Much has changed now that the body is on the stand!!
The photos show the body with 195/60 /15 tires. ( from 914)
Things are tite.Looks like I will go with 195/50/15 still using the 6.5/15 rims.
The size change is more the front turning under the fender.
Wheel bace will be 88" for now.

The other problem is trying to use the Strut rear. It is just too HIGH.
I am go with some other rear upright?

Off to the drafting board!!

Thanks. Those pictures help.

How wide is the body? I know the original 11's were only 60" wide, as the Locost is 3-4" wider than a real 7, is the CMC 11 body 3-4" wider as well?

Seeing as its an Eleven, why not go De Dion? Or better yet, because its got some 15 mixed in, Chapman struts at the rear?

Anyways, looks good. I'm really interested in seeing how the rear uprights turn out.

Cheers,
Rod

FYI for everybody else, the rotors are not fiero. Fiero rotors are not vented, so if considering fiero rear calipers due to the ebrake, they won't work with vented rotors.

Its GOOD to BE KING! Oh, the owner. LOL

The rotor is the front fron a Subaru FWD 1.8L Impreza,1994. 9.5" +-
I have found 10" NAPA # 4886043 will need to have the center cut.
Also the JDM Sti is 11"
The parking brake is going to be a line lock.

So many things are unfair. I note that when I'm on the UK forums they are getting things done a whole day in the future sometimes. How can you beat that?

I also don't want to think the number on some of these names is a date of birth... That's closer to cruel then unfair... :)

Thanks for the hub pictures, now I understand why the Cortina hubs look like they do. Ever so gradually things move forward...

Some refitting to get into the 15" wheels.

Green mark is 4 1/2" ride height of the Lotus 11.
