Randy is there enough difference between the top and bottom wishbone mounting holes on the hubs to give any effective camber gain in bump on the unequal length rear wishbones? I am no eggspurt in this field but 3/4" offset doesnt look much when comparing them to the Haynes rear uprights considering the inner mounts on the frame run parallel.

I dont know but on things like the fisher fury in the pics below mount the inner top pivot points much further outboard which has the same effect. The Haynes roadster has app 3" difference between the top wishbone length and the bottom, some of the builders on here are sure to chime in with some sound advice on this.

It may help having a play with this suspension calc. . It`s not going to be a problem because you only need to bring the top link bracket inboard on the rear hub. Using the toy below you should be able to calculate this.

With some help from Airframe , I think I have found my revers system for the Lotus 11/15. Its bigger than I wanted and will need to make some big changes but its all good. The work is away off but putting parts together and can do some drawing work. Its Alum. but we will see ? Also got a starter for it.

Scrub is less critical on the rear but it is still a lever on the irs and should be minimized by moving the upright ucaps inboard an inch or two. I'd mimic the front upright balljoint positions relative to the hub center vertically and horizontally, even though your rear wheels will probably be a different offset.
Camber gain on the rear is important. The rear ultimately determines how well the car will handle once it is balanced. No point in having a front that sticks when the rear lets go.

On the spitfire, I used vsusp to design the irs to have as close to the same virtual swingarm ((approx 71 ") as the front as possible but with a slightly higher roll center. I ended up with some scrub on the rear since I'm using tbird uprights that have very little offset. My point is use similar geometry on the rear so you can make more use of the front when trying to balance out the limits of the rear. Just MHO.

A aluminum starter ring gear will wear quick but you probably won't be using it often.

I found a way to go to vented disc on my car. It uses Cavalier (84-91) rotor and calipers and the Fiero cut doen hub.

Cleaned up the rust on the build table and will soon move into the new shop and re-start my old build.

Never leave raw metal or you will have a lot of sanding to do. I'm a DUMB !

Here are my fiero/chevette hubs I modified to accept gm full size fwd brakes and bolt circle (from a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP) in 2003. The small rotor in the pic is a cavalier/beretta rotor. Note the added hub centric rings for the rotors and wheels. Overkill imho but it matched the rear which are from the front of a Pontiac 6000 with the heavy duty brake option and larger cv joints.

Better shot of the chassis bottom. Much to do.

Some training for overhead welding. Going to try my hand at MIG. First try was,,, poor and I removed it from the chassis.
But will try again. If it does not go well then back to TIG ! Had a hard time seeing. Going to add a light.
