Great to see progress on your design! 8)
Looking really good too. I like the 3 seat design a lot.
I think it looks a bit more like the Super Guppy than a Meerkat though.

Great looking frame. There is a LOT of thought-out triangulation in there!

Just curious about the two-hoop roll bar. Is it just aesthetics?

Thanks guys..

The twin roll hoops is partly aeshetics, but partly practical because otherwise it's a pretty wide span compared to most small sporty cars and made much sense structurally...

I'm a bit further on than pics show so i'll update again later.

What did you paint your chassis with?

Its Valspar water based enamel...absolutely terrible..still not dried properly after about 6 weeks, and not adhereing well.

When I've fully built and tested I will strip down blast and paint properly...but for now it photographs fairly well....but thats about all..

I agree it's a great color that's why I asked. I'm gonna repaint mine someday after my POR-15 non adhesion nightmare.

Great progress, but what's the clearance like between the caliper and LCA?

Lots of clearance, but I see what you mean from that view...I'll look for a better angle...

ETA...I could not find a better picture, so I'll have to take one that shows it. I need to now for my own satisfaction.:D

Nice work on the hub carriers/uprights/spindles/whatchacallits...but I don't get where the bearings go. What are those hubs, might I ask?
