Just wetting your appetite. The build is a couple years old but it isn't on any forums yet!

Shouldn't some of the uprights in the door bars be replaced with diagonals?
Or the whole door bar business replaced with a large X?

There's still time, take off the door and put a diagonal in the door hole...

They'll functionally do about the same thing. NASCAR style bars like that are still legal in many rulebooks.

No exes in the door bars. This is a street car that I have to get my fat ass into LOL!
I currently have this build on Lateral G, pro-touring.com and grassroots. I loved doing the former car on this site but this one is more up their alley so to speak.
I didn't realize that you guys would be that interested in this build and I never noticed your responses.
OOPS......................................

I just re-read this entire build thread and wonder where all that ambition I had 10 years ago went?
My new build is on 3 forums and if I didn't "save" a whack of posts it would look pretty sick the last 2 years. Honestly when my garage fell on my head that kind of slowed progress down a hair. But no excuses, the garage should be usable this winter and maybe I can get motivated again!

Hi egoman, good to hear from you again. What do you mean your garage fell on your head? What happened? Bill

Quite literally as I was working in the garage a piece of the roof fell on my head. Its amazing that the little things get your attention?
