This is SEMA's "Everything You Need to Register and Title Your Hobby Car in All 50 States" how-to page. It's been up for a while (mid-2011) but I'd never seen it and it's remarkable. A tip of the hat to Exomotive.com, whose engineer posted this on another forum.
