Well, I have a donor vehicle. 2008 Ranger 2.3 with 5 speed manual transmission

You might consider an early ranger/bronco 7.5 for the axle and 80s crown vic for the spindles and brakes, but 94up na miata all around makes a lot of sense for adequate capacity, less parasitic loss, and lower unsprung weight. The truck axle and brake mass are overkill for an 1800# locost.

Thanks for the input. I am buying a Locost that is currently fully taken apart and it has no engine or seats, but it has been run on the track in the past. It is set up with Miata NA suspension and RX7 rear IRS.

Thanks guys. I will check out a build log. I am not the best at documenting and taking pics. Seems like getting the work done takes enough time.
