Did you hard mount everything? if not, what material did you end up using for the soft mount
No, that is the original that came with it. It is a 2016 Duratec 2.5L from a Ford Fusion. First gen 2.5L has a much deeper oil pan. I also removed the balancer.
On another note, which radiator should I use with a 2.5L Duratec? A Civic one would work? I see on Amazon quite a few choices in row cores, from singe to even 4 core radiators. https://www.amazon.com/OzCoolingParts-A ... PN5LX&th=1

Single core is a nogo. We are already limited on radiator size. I would do some measurements and get the biggest that will fit. if it will see track time. triple core is where I would go.
I will measure it tomorrow, but most likely 1/2". I like it because has those safety tabs, just in case they break. Others are using these, that is how I found them.

I am on the hunt now fo an engine. It will be out of a 14-16 ford Fusion. Any other parts off the car I should get? Wiring harness, other bits that will save me later?
I can't say, because mine is pretty bare. I will have to get stuff for mine as well. Wire harness, if you are planning to use the factory coils. Other plugs would be useful as well. I'm thinking about using smart coils, which have three pins in the plugs. I will need the alternator plug, since I have installed a Mazda 6 alternator on the exhaust side with the factory bracket. Sorry about the measurement for the stud. I have forgot about it. I will have to look into the coolant setup as well, but I'm not sure how I will do that yet, most likely some factory components, with some custom made onse. But I may use from Ranger, or something similar rear ports, metal tube toward the front on the exhaust side.

I ordered 4 of those mounts you linked, but not thinking I will likely use them for the engine but we will see. I would really like to get DXF for the motor mount plate, or maybe just make one but it would probably be annoying. I am going to get my Engine this month it is looking like. Will try to get a much still attached to it as I can from the wrecking yard. Wiring harness at the least I think. I need to do some research on what Speeduino or Megasquirt can do as far as the ignition or I will just go wasted spark Zetec ignition.
RWD motorsports has Westfield Duratec engine mounts, but I am wary of the installed engine height being unknown.
The thread is 1/2-13. My engine is sticking out 3/4" at the bottom. I still don't know about the "sticking out from the hood", it is very close for sure, specially the VVT valve, but in the worst case, I will make a scoop. I have machined a low profile oil cap, out of aluminum, short knob for the oil dipstick(I broke the original one anyway). Also machined an EGR delete cap. I machined the side crankcase cover out of aluminum, but it is not completely done yet, I will have to add a fitting to run it to a catch can, and some "fins" inside. The engine mount, I made a carboard template, and then I transferred it to metal. I went overboard with a big thick square tubing, then I made a bit of mistake as well, and now it looks a bit weird, but I'm not redoing it. I will add some holes to it, to make it lighter. They look like some crocodile feet, going up and then down. I have mounted them flat on the chassis. I like these mounts, because has those tabs for safety. If the rubber would rip, those tabs would still hold it together. And of course they are very cheap and made for a V8 engine, so they are strong enough. I know, that Speeduino does not have a knock sensor, which I'm not happy about, but will see, when I get there.
