I've been lurking on the forum for a few years and think I am finally ready to take the plunge. I am planning on shoving a ford taurus sho 3.4 v8 into a haynes roadster. From what ive looked at it should fit into the haynes roadster engine bay without any modifications but I want to double check with people who built one of these already to hear their thoughts. The engine measures roughly 22"width X 23"height X 22.5"length.

Judging from the size of my r1 cradle/motor, that shouldnt be an issue. What trans are you going to run?

I plan on running a 5 speed out of an early 2000s Jaguar or Lincoln ls. The six cylinders had the same bolt pattern as the sho v8 so hopefully everything should line up.
