While it violates the American part of this thread's title, don't discount the Honda V6, because it's developing a pretty big aftermarket.

Are there any good RWD adapters for a J-series?
For a middy, not a bad option, and if low mileage, don't have to stress on timing belt changes, or could be built in a way to accommodate space for the job.

Hi Guys,
Exciting times for American car enthusiasts with a variety of Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) engines and transmissions available. From the robust performance of the Ford Coyote V8 to the iconic Chevy LS series, there's something for everyone. Dodge's HEMI engines continue to deliver power and nostalgia. Transmission options like the Tremec 6-speed and GM's 10-speed auto offer versatility. The resurgence of rear-wheel-drive platforms in American cars brings a smile to any gearhead's face. It's a golden era for those who appreciate the thrill of RWD performance on the open road.magic 8 ball

Hi,
Considering a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) conversion for a J-series engine in a midsize (middie) setup? It's a solid choice! With the right adapter, you can sidestep the timing belt concerns and potentially create a more accessible setup for maintenance. Just ensure the adapter is compatible and well-suited for your specific J-series model. A low-mileage engine could further alleviate worries. Go for it, and enjoy the benefits of RWD without the timing belt stress.
