Looking for a set of scales soon, goign to search used a while, or just get a basic set off summit if nothing pops up

Cheapest I've seen is about $700. Worth while to make your own if you can find cheap enough strain gauge/ load cells. Not sure exactly how I'd build the pad and frame to prevent cocking as you drive off/on. Anybody ever take one apart?

i'll have to check this out, with todays audrino's and thing it might be easier now.

I used a couple 600 pound scales, they turned out to be terrible in accurate lol
