That would work. I think they list 16 ga as 063, but tolerance...

I can get the price down if I get a DXF file.

I don't see one posted.

At current steel prices I'm at $25 in bare steel, $30 painted, or $35 powder coated.

Shipping will be $8.45 using USPS flat rate envelope.

It doesn't make sense for me to plasma cut stainless. too much dross.

Tommy, That is very competitive with what is currently available. Would that include a smounting tud on the
back?

Don't recall what Botbasher was asking but he had no overhead, think his company donated the material and might have been getting paid while he cut them.

That said his emblems are nice.

Cheers!

I'm going to have to look into a stud welder. I don't currently have one.

My ideal world would be someone takes a pic of their nosecone and I draw and cut a one piece grill insert.

Tommy, if a stud welder is in question, you might think about press studs. Especially if you paint or powder coat. Just throwing it out there.

I hope your business is making it worth your while.

Not sure if this is what you wanted. Nose cone is standard Kinetic widened 4". Grille is from Peterbuilt.

Cheers!

Here's a little different look, with a "Ferrari-style" eggcrate grill.

So the plan I had before I sold my Locost project was to make a simple 3 layer grill similar to this.
The front layer would be the 7
the second layer a simple slat cutout panel with the bars the same size as the tabs holding the 7 to the rim.
The second layer would have a 3/4" wide outer rim that matches the nose cone shape. The 7 would be MIG or TIG welded to the second layer from the back side

The third layer would be honeycomb mesh welded to the back of the second layer.

That was my mental vision anyway
