Thank you for the kind comments!
The forecast for the 3 days of the show called for lots of rain. We were fortunate that while overcast and threatening, the rain, for the most part, held off. I'm sure that it did keep some people away.
This show was for Classic cars and Hot Rods mostly. There were some Cobra replicas so I kind of fit in.
Those that knew what a Cheetah was recognized my car as a Cheetah. I heard really nice comments. Most seemed to really love the looks. I didn't take any orders. I gave out cards with my website to those that asked for one. (about 90 cards). I think there might be a few potential customers.
I think that my car, with out doors, is a little more hard core than a Cobra. Definitely less recognizable. With out doors my customer base will be limited I think.
Before going to the show I installed new springs. I set them by ride height. Yesterday I scaled it. It had 15 gallons of gas in the tank.
Cross=50.0%-985lbs, Left=50.0%-984lbs, Rear=49.3%-970lbs. Total 1967lbs. With me in the car the rear weight is 52.3%. Pretty good for not using scales to set the springs.
Tomorrow my son and I start building a better jig. Then we will build 2 frames for the 2 extra bodies that I have. I would sell bodies separately along with frame plans.
Having fun
