I snapped a lower front control arm at a track day event at Autobahn. Luckily I was within the AAA free tow home range. It did cause me to get a trailer and tow it to events.

I had a weld failure on track at Sears Point. Looked all over the pits and nobody could/would help. Finally I walked into this super-plush team Porsche trailer and hit them up. They couldn't have been nicer. They were all bored because their cars were running perfectly and welcomed a task. Wouldn't let me touch their gear. Did a first rate repair in 10 minutes and all my stereotypes about Porsche snobs were crushed.

My Locost has been towed a couple of times since the intake manifold breakdown. Both times it was the distributor, so not my fault at all. My MGB GT has since taken over the honors of most towed with a myriad of cooling system maladies.
