I hope it's in way southern Minn. I doubt that I'll have mine done by then either but I might make the trip any way. You can bet I won't just come in for 4-5 hours like I did at Roaring River. :shock:

Hey, Yep I'm around. I haven't been very active on any of the forums lately.

The Roaring River gathering was fantastic. Thanks Mike, Ed, and everyone else who participated.

Yes, I stuck my hand up for next year. I'm thinking the Southeast corner of Minnesota with some excursions into Wisconsin. About 2 years ago, I hosted a small event there with two other Minnesota 7s. It is a beautiful area. I'll be spending some time scouting roads and finding cool places to visit. Expect a new Forum topic to that purpose soon.

On our way home from the event, Brenda and I went to a state park just outside Council Bluffs Iowa and had some great blats in the "Loess Hills" http://pubs.usgs.gov/info/loess/. I never knew Western Iowa could be so beautiful.

Brent,

I live in Omaha, just across the river from the Loess Hills and they never cease to amaze me. There are some cool roads back in them thar hills.

Thanks for volunteering to host the 2010 meet and it was a blast meeting you and Brenda at Roaring River along with all the other cool folks that attended.

I am building a Locost and it is questionable if it will be ready by next meet but I'm working at it.
