No. I understand there is a language barrier for you. He is talking about both the ifs and the irs hub conversion on the same page. The probe parts are for the irs.

That's what I was saying, different rotor od and offsets, and nominal thickness that could make new pads too thick to install on a new rotor. Trial and error and expense is part of the process when stepping outside the typical build.

I suggest that you stay with the parts I described for the ifs.

Next step is to have complete spindles.

There is a language barrier as well for sure, I'm Hungarian.
So I have misunderstood what it was said in that site.
I can't seem to find hubs, it seems like it is to old. Everybody only sells bearings. 1993-1995 are available though.
Not sure what is the difference between 86-91 vs 93-95.

The hubs are not interchangeable. There are few buyers for new, 86-91 5 lug (turbo) hubs. Older rx7s have rebuildable hubs where only the part that wears is replaced. This means you must find used hubs. You may need to buy used, 5 lug spindle assemblies to get the hubs. 5 lug turbo hubs are less common. Trail, error, and expense:

I will look into those as well.
I have been watching a Canadian on YouTube(Scott Rods), who uses RX7 components for his car, and he mentioned a guy, who sells RX7 parts in Canada.
I will have to get in touch with him, to see if he has these and for how much.

I'm still confused about the front hubs used in that article.
To me, it looks like he used that Raybestos Probe hub, since I don't see splines in it, which would indicate rear hubs.
I'm looking at early RX7 hubs and those use two different sized bearings, one big for inner and the outer one is much smaller. The spindle shaft has a big diameter difference between the two.
Most likely I don't need that, since I need the two same sized bearing style hub, like the Raybestos one.
Am I wrong here?
By the way, I have got two NA complete spindles, and I have sandblasted them already.
Need to figure this RX7 hub out, and get some disc to be able to get the measurements.

I see what you mean. For the front, he said he used 91 rx7 but it looks like he actually used 92-95 rx7 front hubs, which apparently are the same as ford probe 93-97 rear hubs (Raybestos pn 71-2119). He also says they are the same in the last sentence before starting to describe the rear mods:
"Stock Miata 4-bolt front hub on left, RX-7 front/Probe rear hub on right."

He says the adapter/spacer floats, but it must be a press fit to ensure it does not spin on the spindle. If it spins due to a failing bearing, the adapter/spacer can wear the spindle od.

That sounds great, because this way I can buy new parts, and better selection of parts.
I will buy one hub and one disc, just to measure and be sure that they are OK.
Since I will try a Probe hub, I'm guessing that I could go with a Probe front vented disc as well, right?
Do we need front vented rotors, or just to be on the safe side(to be sure, that mates up with the hub correctly), should I get a solid rear rotor?

Since you have complete na spindles, fit new pads and measure the rotor clearance gap and offset from the hub face to determine the best rotor with the closest nominal thickness and offset ("hat" height). The caliper floats but you can determine the acceptable range of motion.

Solid, non-vented rotors will likely require spacers between the outer pad and caliper to keep the piston from over extending under worst case scenario of a minimum thickness rotor and worn out pads. Solid for such a light street car is acceptable but given the choice, I'd go with vented and standard temp replacement pads that work well cold.

I only have the spindle dust shield and Miata hub.
I will pick up a caliper/bracket and and Probe hub then.
