To the outside edge of the rear tires? What type of frame are you using, stock, +2, +4 etc?

Thanks,
Gene

Book frame
Rear track = 53.5"
Outside edge to outside edge - 61.6"

Nick, you must have about 1/2" clearance from the inside of your tires to the frame?

I have a big huge Panhard rod. And actually it's not that close. Frame width is 42" and inner tire width is 44-1/4". Even at full compression or droop I have more than half an inch clearance.

The stock MGB track is 49-1/4", which wouldn't make it in a book Locost with regular offset tires, so I've got 1-1/4" spacers bolted on. Wider spacers are available if I ever needed them.

+2 Frame
Rear track is 56 inches. Outside to outside is 65 inches.
Front track is 58 inches. outside to outside is 67 inches.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like my rear will be 66" to the edge of the tires if I use the stock Mark VIII IRS complete. I am using the McSorley 442 frame.

61.2" with 205 tyres so 61.2" + (410mm / 2) = 69.3" - (40mm x 2) offset = 66.2"

I wouldn't skite about that Mate, you might do well in Asia but you're in for a shock if you come to Australia.

54 1/2" track, using the S10 2wd rear axle (GM 10 bolt). Measured from center of tire to center of tower. This is the same axle as the original Stalker. In the Haynes plans (originally made for IRS), it's a tight fit.

BTW, the front track seems to be identical.

Is there aussie slang for humble and modest? If there is, it probably isn't complementary! :P

As a somewhat unrelated data point, Midlana is 72" outside-to-outside, both front and back.
