Hi Guys,

I am the point in my build where I am making my suspension brackets and control arms. But it seems I have a lot of choices.

The book and Vodou plans are all in metric. But I live in the USA. Because of this, I cannot get metric steel so easily. So this means I have to make a variation of the control arms and brackets? If this is the case, can I get peoples input on what they did for it?

Bushing/bushing tube/control arm tube(both rear and front) diameters and thickness?

If you are trying to copy the plans:
Convert. One inch equals 25.4 mm.
Use tubing at least as big and with as much wall thickness as the metric reference.
Custom machining on a lathe is required to make some parts starting with oversize tubing.

The "book" doesn't have control arm references.
Vodou shows 19mm or 3/4" tubing for the upper control arms (UCAs).

Details of the build are important if you want to share/contribute a build site or pics or just some information.

I converted from metric to imperial as suggested but also adjusted the dimensions to account for using rod ends vs bushings. I was not happy about how short the upper rear arms are and will eventually modify, but its working now.
