Locost-type cars are typically driven on twisty roads or road course, hence my reference to lap time. A specific case can always be contrived where general guidance is wrong. The OP didn't ask about a specific track, he asked about corner scales, hence my comment about how much it matters depends on how the car will be used. If we're now talking about ultimate lap times and chassis setup, that seems more appropriate for a new thread. |

I’m a little late to the party on this, but superfastmatt on YouTube has an interesting take on this, https://youtu.be/NFzElHVBJ64. Interesting guy. He stuffed a CBR1000RR into a Honda S600. He’s presently putting a Tesla motor and battery pack into a 1950 Jaguar Mark V. |

But I added up the costs and it seems to be more expensive than just using the scales I mentioned, plus you get 4 corners. Still not at that point yet so not sure what I’m going to do |
