Coming along nicely Tommy!

My hole preference hinges on what it will be used for. Some attachments don't like any play, some don't care. If only one option then I would vote for drilled. JMHO

A third option might be a plasma cut hole a few thou undersize, and the customer does the final, close tolerance drilling! Just an idea!

Larry and Mike, I believe both of you guys are on to something.

That leads me to develop 1 style bracket and offer 2 finishes; as cut (deburred of course) and drilled or reamed if close tolerance is required.

These open honest conversations are why I love this group.

Me too Tommy. Is this in Stainless? If not, it might be a nice touch. I forget, do you have a website to order from?

$5 each plus shipping.

1/8" mild steel.

Today I'm going to see if I can do a basic oil bluing. I have to break out the propane burner / fire pit anyway.

Tommy, You have a PM

If the bluing doesn't turn out, I understand that home powder coating is supposed to be fairly easy.

There was a bombing run in the garage this afternoon.
I picked up some 1/8 inch hot rolled pickled and oiled. Bluing on mild steel was a failure. I need to change my oil mix to get the color I want.

Parts are cut, lightly dressed edges with 120 flap disc, then filed the catch on the opener.

You guys decide.. Ship them or no?

Hey guys
I'll head to the Post office on Monday

PM me your addresses and part counts. Don't bother paying until the USPS gets them to your door.

Paypal is Tommy.Samuels2@gmail.com

I spent this afternoon drawing up some weld on brackets.
They'll be that starting point for everything else as I made them scalable.
