World-Class Racetrack Coming To Lake Of The Ozarks Missouri

Post by FieroReinke »

Finally a track I will be able to take the seven to that wont take half a day to get to. Also should be better than the roval at Gateway. Now, what do I need to do to the seven to set it up for trackdays rather than autocross?

Two new tracks in MO.....this year might turn around yet. I'm going to have to start working on my full cage.

Good discussion about the Ozark track.

Link to the other one, which is being a little more tight lipped about details. Please share if you are able to find out any more details.

My winter plans for the seven will be changing as I try to set the car up more for trackdays than autocross. Time to buy the plans to build the Got trikes tubing bender for a full cage.

I am finally going to get a chance to get on this track. Shelbyfest which is a Mustang car show, comes to Jefferson City every year in May has started adding a trackday at OIR. last year I learned they do allow other makes and models to join them to help up their numbers and lower their per driver cost. I had to call to describe my car since it is non traditional but they were more than happy to include it. Fortunately, due to their mix up, I get both Wednesday after and Thursday so should be about 7 sessions on track. Can't wait.

If anyone else is interested here is the link. They also have a parade lap option if you just want to drive around the track at slow speed during lunch break behind the pace car.
