Man, Larry in Seattle, you must know a short cut. It's 2000+ for me in Creswell OR (where I hope to be replanted by then) and you sure don't look any closer than me.

Do I read that as you are attending Jack?

had a fun time checking the Saturday cruise route yesterday with my dad in his E -type. Lots of good roads. I need to make a few tweaks but not many. I will update the routes on the first post once final. Hopefully everyone is reserving their rooms at the hotel.

RX7 I'm sorry to report that will not be in attendance. Too far and too many viruses. Russ

Sorry to hear that you'll not be attending Russ. I totally understand though. Even though we both have had our vaccinations, we are still limiting our exposure with others for now. I am still vacillating on it myself. I want to go and we have it blocked off on our calendar. Time will tell. I suspect that some of the others may be hesitant for that same reasons too.

I think Russ meant to say that Jack will not be in attendance. Russ certainly is going to make this.

You can still come to get motivation and ideas for your build. We can find you a seat somewhere.

Just found out about this meetup. I'm a current builder in the early stages of my build (~9 months in, but I have 3yo twins that restricts my build time). I'm going to chat with the wife about this and see if I'd be able to make the drive down from Des Moines to meet you guys and ask TONS of questions about your builds.

Probably not this year. Funds will be going into getting mine going.
Plus, we have a 7 mo old, so bailing for a long weekend probably wouldn't sit well at home. :boxing:

We were in the midst of a move from Omaha to Seattle in June 2011. The midwest gathering was scheduled for the weekend before the van was going to pick up all our stuff. Cuz and I went, had a great time,. Got back to Omaha just in time to witness my wife's near nervous breakdown, She was getting everything packed up and ready for the movers. She was running behind but never said a word about me being gone for four days at a very critical time. I dug in and somehow we were ready when the mover showed up. But it was close.

Ha ha ha ha! You know Larry, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. You were lucky, very very lucky, very lucky, did I mention you were lucky?
