Perry,

The rest of the story. To make matters much, much worse I looked at what was left to be done and said 'I thought you would have a lot more done by now.'

That was almost 10 years ago. Still paying for that remark.

You would a thought that i said don't blame the pants for you butt looking big.

And yet I still live.

Cheers!

Sorry to hear that you'll not be attending Russ. I totally understand though. Even though we both have had our vaccinations, we are still limiting our exposure with others for now. I am still vacillating on it myself. I want to go and we have it blocked off on our calendar. Time will tell. I suspect that some of the others may be hesitant for that same reasons too.

I think Russ meant to say that Jack will not be in attendance. Russ certainly is going to make this.

Ahhhh! Maybe you are right. I may have misread.

My bad. I left out a comma and left out Jack (kind of important) in my post. I can't blame the computer. I can only blame old age!!!!!!

RX7 , I'm sorry to report that Jack will not be in attendance. Too far and too many viruses. Russ

After chatting with the Director of Time and Finances, I'm tentatively planning on heading down Thursday and spending the day on Friday with you chaps. Haven't booked my room yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing some of these cars out in the wild.

Still trying but no new news. their last response was, "we are open when we are open no earlier.". One of the members of one of the local clubs I invited bought a couple lots next to the track to build a track side garage. We are checking with him to see if he has any pull.

First post updated with latest attendee list, agenda and maps. I still need to lock in the restaurant for Saturday night but all the other restaurants are confirmed for Friday and Saturday. Dinner for Thursday is not an organized dinner for the whole group. If you can make it great.

For those that are attending, please send me your contact information, phone number and email address. Don't worry I wont post it online. I want to send full directions to everyone coming so you can print them if you want and I want to have phone numbers in case someone gets lost.

Let us know if you are coming without a Seven and want to find a ride. I should have an open seat in my car. My wife will be going to Kansas City for the weekend.

Attendee list updated in first post. There are still a few tentative people that we need to confirm. This is going to be a big group. We may need to break up into a fast group and slow group.

Well I made our reservation tonight. Plan to see everyone in about a month.

Chris, if we need to break up the group, I volunteer for the slow one.

Just to give everyone an update on Ozarks International Raceway. We are still pushing OIR on giving us access, but they have not committed. We are exploring all options we have and will continue to push until the start of the gathering. If we cannot get access, the Thursday cruise will take us by the track, but we will not stop as there is no place to pull off the road safely.

I just registered at the lodge for Thurs thru Sunday. I know I was late. They still accommodated me.

Just a heads up: I called and made the reservations, then they changed it to the "7 Gathering" group to get my room close to the rest of the group. When they did that, the computer automatically changed my check-out date, put me checking out on Saturday the 15th. They had to manually extend it back to Sunday. For some reason she said the block was setup for checkout on Saturday. For those staying thru Sunday, be sure your reservations are correct.
