Wow, we'll see you coming up to the cabin way off. I'll be there late June

I was hoping to see paint on it when I clicked and I was not disappointed. That's bright! Looks good.

Thanks, I think it’s going to take a month to sink in. I have a feeling my gas stops won’t be 30min anymore. It was hard to stop anywhere in raw aluminum. I’m not one that flocks to attention either. I just like color.

Might as well document all of this. What ya think?
I saw it 2 days ago and I’m not looking forward to the clean up. The poor thing is trashed.

Steve, looking at the pics I have no idea what you're talking about. Is there an issue with the paint job? Or are you just yanking our chains?

My glaucoma makes seeing some detail hard ut I see nothing here other than reflections in the shiny and nice looking paint.

I again side with Perry.\

HA! Kinda caught me by surprise your looking for a problem. I didn’t expect that angle. Just a picture of new stripes. This is all I’ve seen of them. I don’t think there is a problem.

Agreed on the paint. It will be nice to see the whole car assembled and on its wheels, etc.

Cheers,

I finished fitting the bonnet and nose Thursday night. Got it on the road today and drove a little bit. I drove it to a party with car people today which was fun. Pounded on it a little bit. It’s so nice to be done with it and driving a real finished car. It’s quieter and a lot less banging of sheet metal. I put 1/8 foam on the bonnet seats on the nose and scuttle. It’s very bright which is fun.

That is a sweet looking car! Nicely done. The color and brightwork really sets it off. Congratulations.
